What inspires you to create your art?
I have always been incredibly inspired by nature: trees, flowers, the moon, the sun, stars, birds, and sunsets! I thoroughly love adventuring outdoors and just really taking in and appreciating the moment and appreciating what’s around me! Being absorbed and surrounded by nature makes me feel so grounded and whole! I love grasping all the details in nature or taking photos to inspire me for future works of art!!
Thought leaders have inspired me over the years; especially Albert Einstein! His quotes are absolutely incredible! He sure was a genius!
I love inspirational words and quotes!
Colour inspires me! I love being surrounded by beautiful, vibrant, happy colours!!
My own artwork inspires me as well! Sometimes when I’m walking past one of my own paintings, one little section of it will spark an idea for another painting!!
Here are some examples of inspiration that struck me!
The first photo is a dried paint chunk off of my artwork, ‘Love Every Moment!’ That single paint chunk inspired me to create an entirely new painting based off of it. The new painting is, ‘Peace is Flowing like a River!’
The second photo is a photo that I took from my parents’ kitchen window one night at dinner! The moon was rising perfectly over the trees! That moment inspired me to create my painting, ‘Moonrise!’
What should I consider when choosing the perfect artwork for my home?

Are these originals and prints a good fit for my home, office, restaurant, school, etc.?
I truly believe that my art will bring so much colour, inspiration, and joy to any environment you wish to place it in! 😊
Do you hand-paint the art merchandise (mugs, Throw Blankets, Spiral notebooks)?
I take high-resolution photos of my original artworks and upload them to a site that enables me to place my artwork on the merchandise! I format the artwork to properly fit on the merchandise and then the items are made and shipped from a third party printer, after they are ordered!
If I specifically label something as hand-painted or original paintings, then you can most definitely bet that I painted it!
Shipping and Returns
How long will it take to ship an original Painting or Print?
Original paintings and limited-edition giclée prints ship directly from me and typically take 5-7 business days to ship out, after the order is received!
I just received my Art Merchandise order and only half the order showed up (ex: only mugs showed up but not the Throw Blanket)! What do I do?
Be patient! 😊 The Art Merchandise is shipped from different third party printers so your items may come in at different times from different locations! If it takes over a month, then definately feel free to contact me!
Can I return an Item?
Originals and Print Sales are final, which is stated on both of those shop pages. As for art merchandise, the sales are final as well, except for the event of a damaged item! They are shipped from a third party printer, so in that case, please contact me right away and we will see how we can sort out the situation with the printing company! Contact me here!
What do I do if my Katy Speziale Art is damaged during shippinG?
This is a very unlikely occurrence but in the event that this happens, please contact me personally right away so we can sort things out in an efficient and calm manner! Contact me here!
